Much like many Hollywood celebrities, xtra xtra didn’t always look the way it looks now. We recently completed an extensive redesign process that was similar to an “everything must go” sale. We got a new logo and a sleeker color scheme. We created new icons and simplified the posting process. We ditched old features and picked up some fresh ones.
We decided to create a new look for the site in the summer of 2009. After collecting over 3,000 user comments from a BzzAgent.com marketing campaign, it was clear that we needed a clean, crisp layout that immediately let users know one thing: This is where you can read and share local milestones. Functionality and action were keys, and we needed someone to help us unlock the right doors.
That’s where Fresh Tilled Soil came in.
We worked with this design company to revamp the site. They focused on usability and functionality, and there was an emphasis on making the site sleek, simple, and familiar to even the newest user.
